This is the third shrunken head figure I ever made, back in 2014. It’s inspired by the classic sugar skull face paint known from the Spanish holiday “Día de Muertos” (The Day of the Dead), which takes place every year on November 1st and 2nd. The head is sculpted in Fimo clay and then painted and all of the decorations are made from old jewellery and fake hair I had lying around, which I was able to repurpose for this project.
